This Spring Season we are seeing lots of colours of nature, especially blues and greens.  These can be bright or a more subtle pastel shade. Let me guide you through you can wear these colours with confidence this Spring.

Fresh Greens

This bright green shade is everywhere and in everything from tops, knitwear, trousers, skirts, shorts, jackets and accessories. So, if it’s a colour that suits you and you love now is the time to add it to your wardrobe – perhaps choose a statement jacket like this one from Boden

Textured Cropped Wool Jacket, Boden, £170

Or some green trousers like these from Whistles

Flora Tailored Pant, Whistles, £169

If it feels too much don’t forget you can add a splash of it at your feet – and these baseball trainers from Next will put a spring in your step!

Baseball Trainers, Next, £28

For a more subtle shade, then opt for the a pastel green, like this feminine blouse from Monsoon

Monsoon Clara Palm Print Blouse Green £60.00

Or this floral dress from Fat Face which will look wonderful on you if you have some warmth to your skin / hair

Floral V-Neck Midi Tea Dress, Fat Face, £69

Into the Blue

Blue often makes a style statement in Spring, and this season doesn’t fail to deliver, and in fact turns the dial up on bold blue

This Wyse London dress is in a fluid broderie viscose fabric with pretty ruffles at the neckline and a tiered skirt. Whilst John Lewis might have called an end to the maxi dress and pump look, my personal opinion is that this trend will not end just yet – its too easy to wear for us to walk away from it!

Bel Broderie Trim Dress, Wyse London, £295

Or you might like the cotton spot shirt from Pure Collection, which is a piece which is very easy to style

COTTON SHIRT, Pure London, £80

Ss well as bold blues you’ll find lots of the pastel blues too.  Pastels look particularly good on you if you have a lightness to your colouring – so think light coloured hair and light eyes.

These blue cropped trousers from Monsoon are cool and casual for everyday yet smart enough for days in the office.   A very versatile piece.

Livia belted linen culottes, Monsoon, £65

And this tweed jacket from Mango also hits another big trend this Spring of pockets.  Just bear in mind the positioning on pockets, as they will draw attention to that area – so use to flatter your body shape

Pocket tweed jacket, Mango £79.99

Don’t forget – an easy way to add a pop of seasonal colour to your wardrobe is by using accessories.  This cross body bag from M&S, is a perfect on trend addition!

Faux Leather Cross Body Bag, M&S, £19.50
